Bill & Cricket Nelson

Bill & Cricket NelsonBill & Cricket Nelson

Bill and Cricket have been happy to teach all ages several options for securing one’s horses while camping. The general idea of Cricket and Bill’s tutorial is “K.I.S.S” (Keep It Simple Silly)! By using equipment you already own, and simple techniques, you too can rest assured that your animals will be where you left them.

Cricket is a career employee working with Autistic children. Her passion for the kids makes one smile within minutes of talking to her about them. Cricket is also a member of “MIDDLE OF THE MITTEN” affiliate of the A.H.C.A. and competes nationally. Cricket and her horse “Filly” have been Reserve Grand Champions for the last two years running, competing in the National Finals held in Sedalia Missouri in 2014 and 2015.

Bill is a retired Operating Engineer and is enjoying his retirement saying “Yes Dear” to Cricket! Bill worked teaching rescue with professional firefighters and took that knowledge and adapted it to the horse world devising and perfecting the methods he and Cricket use both in demonstrations and on their own horse camping trips.

Bill and Cricket will conduct their demonstrations throughout the weekend in the Trails Camp in the Trails Room.
