Melinda Hyde has been training horses and riders professionally for over 30 years. As a youth, Melinda was involved in the Michigan 4-H program as well as being a rider in the Michigan Interscholastic Horsemanship Association. Upon graduating high school she became a student in the Equestrian Studies program at Findlay College. She left Findlay College to pursue her career training and showing Morgans, Saddlebreds and Hackneys.

As Owner/Trainer/Instructor of Four Points Farm LLC, Melinda teaches riders from the beginner to the World Championship level in the disciplines of Saddle Seat, Hunt Seat on the Flat, Western and Driving, and recently has taken an interest in Western Dressage. Melinda is a PATH Intl Certified Registered Therapeutic Riding Instructor, a USEF Licensed Official as a “r” Morgan and a “r” Friesian Judge, and a Michigan 4-H Horse Show Judge. She has held Vice President and Secretary Offices on the Michigan Justin Morgan Horse Association Board and is very active with the MIHA program in many capacities, including being a coach for the Lakeland High School Equestrian Team, who attained the 2016 State Championship for the A Division.
