The West Michigan Arabian Horse Association will showcase the versatility of the Arabian horse, with individuals performing in a variety of disciplines. Included in the presentation will be:
PSYNLESS, along with his owner Kris Lamb of Holland, MI, is 2017 Canadian National Top Ten in the Amateur Western pleasure division. Sired by Psyncere and out of the mare WH Timeless ET, PSYNLESS is a 2008 purebred Arabian gelding with Regional and Futurity championships in Halter. PSYN shows his talent for versatility competing in halter, hunter, western pleasure, equitation, trail and now is learning the fine points of Extreme Mountain Trail course competition.
MY GENERATION, owned by Stephanie Kelts, who has been riding and showing Arabian horses since she was 7 years old, and has been a member of AHA and WMAHA for over 20 years. Stephanie currently owns 15 horses, and has shown in just about every discipline including saddle seat, hunt seat, western, reining, equitation, side saddle western and English, native costume, show hack, showmanship and trail. Stephanie lives in Milford, with her husband, Jim, and their two children, son Tristan, age 6, and daughter Tennley, age 4. Both children are very active with horses and have been showing by 18 months of age.
MY GENERATION’s show record includes National Champion and Reserves, Plus Top Tens in Native Costume at the Arabian Youth Nationals; Top Ten in Arabian Native Costume at the US Arabian Nationals, Top Tens in Arabian Native Costume, Country English Pleasure and Show Hack at the Canadian Nationals; as well as Numerous Champions, Reserves, Top Five, Top Tens and class wins at Arabian Regional Shows in Arabian Native Costume, Country English Pleasure and Show Hack.
SW SYNATRA and Claire Richardson, Claire is in 8th grade at Forest Hills Central middle school. She won two Top Fives at her first regional show this year and was Reserve Champion at fair with FRANK this year too. She also competes on her High School equestrian team, has been in 4-H for seven years, volunteers at Request Center for Therapeutic Riding, and competes on the horse judging team. “FRANK” is a purebred 11 year old Arabian gelding. He’s won Reserve Champion at Region 13 and Top Fives in country pleasure, equitation, walk/trot, and showmanship. Claire has owned him for three years and they plan to compete in show hack next year as well.
NOBLE EDITION, and Ella Frederick. Ella started showing the WMAHA circuit around four years old in lead line classes. Once she turned six, she started showing Walk-Trot in Saddle Seat, Hunt Seat, and Western, with her mare Apollos Prada. In 2015, Ella won a Reserve Champion at Region 13 in Hunt Seat Equitation with Prada.
In 2016, Ella won Region 18 Hunt Seat Equitation and Western and Horsemanship with The Noble One. 2017 was Ella’s last year competing in walk-trot and she showed her gelding, NOBLE EDITION, to two Top Tens at the Arabian Youth Nationals. In 2018, Ella will be moving up to walk trot canter classes. Ella has won the WMAHA High Point Equitation Award for Walk Trot the last three years, and is working hard to accomplish the same goal this year.
SMOOTH JAZZ is a Half Arabian gelding owned by the Mulinski family of Spectrum Horse Services LLC. SMOOTH JAZZ already has quite an extensive show career in Western Pleasure and Hunter Pleasure having earned Regional titles. This year SMOOTH JAZZ will continue to show in Western Pleasure and will make his debut in Dressage, Ladies Side Saddle and Arabian Native Costume. SMOOTH JAZZ is in training with 3K Performance Horses LLC and will be shown by them as well as owner Donna Mulinski.
DIPLOMATIC IMMUNITY is an Arabian stallion owned by the Mulinski family of Spectrum Horse Services, LLC. DIPLOMATIC IMMUNITY has received multiple ribbons in Hunter Pleasure and Western Pleasure in Eastern Michigan Arabian Association shows. He also was the 2016 Grand Champion Halter at the Saginaw County Fair, as well as receiving 1st place in both Western Pleasure and English Pleasure there.
DIPLOMATIC IMMUNITY also received multiple 1st and 2nd place Dressage (scores in upper 60’s and mid 70’s) at Eastern Michigan Arabian Association shows and Wyn Farm Dressage Series shows. He also received 3rd place Year End Dressage Award for the Eastern Michigan Arabian Association.
BECKHAM UA is owned by Paul and Nikole Reece of Victoria Cross Farm. BECKHAM UA has an impressive show record, including 2015 US National Champion Stallion AAOTH (Adult Amateur Owner to Handle), 2015 Region 13 Champion Stallion AAOTH and 2015 Great Lakes Arabian Trifecta Futurity Colt/Gelding Champion.
The magnificent Arabians will be presented at the following times during the Michigan Horse Expo, and four of them (Diplomatic Immunity, Beckham UA, My Generation, and Psynless) will be available all weekend on Stallion Avenue. You can also visit them in stalls 736, 738, 740, and 739. You can find the stall location on the Expo floorplan.
